STEP 1 OF 4
Find the information controls
In 02 Design, open Add to your website · announcement, information & gallery, then Information window.
STEP 2 OF 4
Write the invitation and detail
Turn the information button on. Give it wording that explains what will open, then add a clear title and useful factual detail.
STEP 3 OF 4
Open and close it in the preview
Choose the button inside the website preview. It opens only on that action. Close or Escape returns focus to the opener; check the text on phone too.
STEP 4 OF 4
Keep the fallback useful
The export includes an expandable version for browsers without the dialog behaviour or JavaScript. Put essential content in ordinary page sections rather than hiding everything in a window.
HOW YOU KNOW IT WORKED
Check your result.
The window does not appear on arrival, opens from its labelled button and returns focus when dismissed.
If it doesn’t feel right yet.
If a browser cannot open the modal, use the expandable fallback. Keep long or essential information on a normal page.
Ask for a helping hand ↗Include the step and what happened. Leave passwords, keys and private customer information out.
Saved only on this browser. It is a reading reminder, not proof of completion or compliance.
